SendLens vs Hiro Analytics

A feature-by-feature comparison of two Klaviyo reporting tools built for agencies, including the parts where Hiro is the better pick. Every claim about Hiro comes from their own public documentation.

Last reviewed August 2026

Choose SendLens if

  • Your roster is on Klaviyo and you want depth over breadth
  • You want churn risk, RFM and forecasting, not just historical reporting
  • You want the tool to build segments in Klaviyo, not just chart them
  • You pitch new business and want an audit to pitch with
  • You are one or two clients in and £55/mo suits you better than a four-figure floor

Choose Hiro Analytics if

  • Your clients are split across Yotpo, Attentive, Omnisend or Postscript
  • You need Push and WhatsApp reporting alongside email and SMS
  • You want to design your own report layouts block by block
  • LTV measured at several fixed horizons is central to how you report
  • A 30-day trial matters more to you than starting without a call

The biggest gap

Reporting tells you what happened. This tells you what happens next.

Hiro's documented analytics are descriptive: cohorts, LTV, attribution, all measured carefully after the fact. SendLens adds the predictive layer on top of that, on every plan including the entry tier.

  • Eleven RFM segments, with thresholds you can tune per brand
  • Churn risk scored per customer, with the revenue at risk attached
  • Predicted next order date, so win-backs land while people are reachable
  • 30, 60 and 90-day revenue forecasts with confidence intervals

Acting on it

Both have AI. Only one can build the segment.

Hiro's documented AI writes report notes and retrieves data for Claude. Ask SendLens does that too, and can then draft the segment, list or campaign in Klaviyo for you to approve. Nothing ships without a human clicking confirm, and deleting anything makes you type DELETE.

  • Ask questions in-app, no external AI account to connect
  • RFM tiers written back to Klaviyo nightly, so segments stay live
  • Every write is approval-gated and logged
  • A hard daily usage cap, so the AI cannot run up a bill

New business

Neither tool wins you the client. One of them helps you pitch.

Hiro reports on the clients you already have. SendLens also runs a full lifecycle audit on a prospect's Klaviyo account before they sign, so the pitch deck is proof you already understand their account.

  • Run an audit on a time-boxed prospect account, no setup from them
  • Lifecycle gaps named across eight stages, with value estimates
  • Campaign creative screenshotted and critiqued
  • White-labelled in your agency's colours

How we compiled this

Methodology and sources

  • Every Hiro capability above was taken from their public help centre at docs.hiroanalytics.com, their marketing site, or their Klaviyo App Marketplace listing, reviewed in August 2026.
  • Where a capability is not documented we mark it “not documented” rather than claiming it is absent. Undocumented is not the same as impossible, and their product may well have moved since.
  • We have deliberately excluded figures that appear on unedited template sections of their marketing site, because they are not claims Hiro is actually making.
  • Pricing on their side is not published as a rate card; the figures shown come from their homepage FAQ and a worked example in their help centre.
  • Spotted something out of date or wrong? Tell us at hello@sendlens.io and we will correct it.

Questions

Common questions

We built SendLens, so treat it as a vendor comparison and verify anything that matters to your decision. What we can commit to: every Hiro claim here is sourced from their own public materials, we say plainly where Hiro is the better choice, and we mark anything undocumented rather than assuming the worst. If we have something wrong, email us and we will fix it.
